Jo is an experienced Occupational Therapist with more than 15 years of clinical practice across hospital, rehabilitation, and community settings. Her extensive background has provided her with a deep understanding of the diverse challenges individuals face in their daily lives, whether recovering from injury or managing long-term conditions.
She specialises in assessing functional needs and designing tailored housing modifications that promote safety, independence, and quality of life. Jo works collaboratively with clients, families, Accessable, and industry professionals to ensure each modification is appropriate, effective, and aligned with best practice. Her approach is always client-centred, focusing on practical solutions that make a real difference.
Jo belongs to the OTBNZ and is accredited in housing modifications, personal cares assessment and equipment provision through Enable NZ.
Jo believes everyone should have the choice to live in their own home while maintaining their independence and quality of life.
Known for his relaxed communication style and collaborative approach, Josh enjoys working closely with clients to explore how they want to live and use their homes. Working through layouts, materials, and finishes in a way that feels creative and enjoyable, giving his clients confidence in the end result by engaging them in the design process. He’s passionate about making the design process fun, accessible, and tailored to each client’s lifestyle.
Josh has been creating homes and spaces for clients for over 20 years. Before he designed homes he worked in Commercial Interiors and Architecture exposing him to every sort of environment from Restaurants to Aged Care, building his understanding all the ways people use spaces, He brought that expertise and interest to his Residential design and Interiors.
Josh also worked hands-on as a builder while studying, giving him a practical perspective that complements his design skills and helps ensure ideas translate smoothly into real-world construction and works closely with our Construction teams.
